Caernarfon blankets, sometimes called Pwllheli blankets are something of an oddity in Welsh textiles. In the centre here is a picture of the Old College (Aberystwyth University) with ‘Cymru Fydd’ (Wales to be) above, and a picture of Caernarfon castle with ‘Cymru Fu’ (Wales that was) underneath it.
