Hi Linda,
Thanks for your comment. Meeting Roman is a great experience. I know him from when I used to work at the IWM on the Holocuast Exhibition. Like you, I have always been impressed with the way his speaks about his experiences during the Second World War and figured he'd be a great person to interview for my book project. He is lovely and was very happy to help out.
I will pass on your kind comments to him.
Best wishes, Steve

Hello Steve
at the weekend my husband and I were up in London for a Jane Birkin concert at the Barbican and on the Sunday we visited the Imperial War Museum and viewed the Holocaust Exhibition.
To be perfectly honest I had never heard of Roman prior to the exhibition and during the exhibition it was Romans voice I heard talking about his life as a Jewish man during the 1930's and 2nd World war. I was moved to tears by so much of the exhibition.
We then visited the art gallery and I cannot explain the emotions I felt when I came face to face with Romans exquisite artwork... what a privilege. They are heartbreakingly beautiful. Steve if you have any way of contacting this wonderful gentleman, please pass on my love and gratitude to him. I will never forget his story. Thank you, Peace and happiness to you.
